GEOGRAPHY ( SPACE SCIENCE) :-
1. The largest object that was invented in the history of the mankind – Universe.

2. The size of the universe that was estimated in the recent scientific knowledge – 20 billions of light years.

3. The theories that explains about the formation of the universe – 1. Study state theory 2. Big bang theory.

4. Big bang theory was proposed by Dr. Edwin Hubble, in the year 1920 .

5. The time of the Big Bang that was estimated by scientific community – 13.4 billions of years .

* About Big bang :  Big Bang means greatest explosion that happened 13.4 billions of year back, in a volleyball like structure

* The matter through that explosion are expanded at a rate of lakhs of miles per second. The ultimate result is formation of universe.

6. Universe is made up of two different matters – Black matter , white matter.

7. What is Black matter

* Black matter is nothing but the space in the universe . Black matter is made up of trillions to the power trillions of sub atomic particles ( neutrino particles, mesons) .

* Black matter is accounting for 99% of the universe.

8. What is white matter ?

* White matter represents 1% of the whole universe and is accounting for all galactical systems in the universe .

9. In to how many types galaxies were divided in the universe. ? – four types.

* 1. Spiral.    2. Bi spiral.(peculiar )  3. Elliptical.    4. Irregular

10. Spiral – Spiral galaxies resemble in the shape of sphere. Ex : Milky way .

11. Peculiar galaxies - are formed during the time of inter galactical collisions. As a common phenomenon they are accounting for 5% of the universal galactical process.

12. Elliptical – are formed as a elongated structure like a cigar more or less they are larger than our milk way .

13. Irregular – are dwarf and small galaxies , believed to be formed as a result of galactical collisions . Generally these galaxies not have definite shape but will function as satellite galaxies to the other major galaxies .

14. The intergalactic distance means the distance between any two galaxies . In average it is about hundred-thousand fold (five orders of magnitude) greater than their interstellar counterparts.

15. What is meant by zodiac

* In astronomy, the zodiac is the band of sky along which the paths of the sun, the moon, and the planets appear to move.
