 Snow Leopard Expert Charudutt Mishra won the Whitley Gold Award 2022.

 There are 12 snow leopard range countries including Afghanistan, China and Russia.

 He previously won the award in 2005 and this is his 2nd Whitley Gold Award.

 Whitley Gold Award is known as Green Oscars.

2. Anshul Swami

 Anshul Swami is appointed as the MD and CEO of Shivalik Small Finance Bank.

 He succeeds Suveer Kumar Gupta.

 He previously served as the Head of Retail & Inclusions, Products in RBL Bank.

3. Sangeeta Singh

 Sangeeta Singh is appointed as the Additional Charge of CBDT Chairman.

 She has replaced Jagannath Bidyadhar Mohapatra.

 She is currently in charge of Audits and Judicial Matters.

4. Ronnie O’Sullivan

 Ronnie O’ Sullivan becomes the Oldest Snooker Champion in 7th World Snooker Championship Title.

 He won this title at 46 years of age.

5. Arvind Krishna

 Arvind Krishna is elected to the Board of Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

 He will remain in this post for the period of 3-year

 He has been elected as the Class B Director.

 He was serving as the Chairman and CEO of IBM since January 2021.

6. Wesley Barbossa So

 Wesley Barbossa So wins Norway Chess Blitz Tournament 2022.

 He is a Filipino-American Chess Grandmaster.

 This tournament was held in Finansparken, Stavanger, Norway.

7. Cynthia Rosenzweig

 Cynthia Rosenzweig receives the 2022 World Food Prize for her Research on Climate Crisis and Food Production.

 She is an Agronomist and Climatologist of National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA).

 She was recognised for her work in modelling of the climate crisis impact on food production.

8. Rodrigo Chaves

 Rodrigo Chaves takes office as President of Costa Rica.

 He belongs to Social Democratic Progress Party (SDPP).

 He will succeed Carlos Andres Alvarado Quesada.

9. Aruna Singh

 Aruna Singh takes Additional Charge as Chairman Cum Managing Director of RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RCIL).

 RCIL is an Indian Public Sector Enterprise focusing on providing broadband and VPN services. 

10. Ajay Piramal

 Ajay Piramal received Order of the British Empire Award.

 He received this Honarary Commander by her Majesty the Queen.

 Ajay received this award for services to the UK-India trade relationship as India co-chair of the UK￾India CEO forum.
